IntSights, the Israel-based provider of “intelligence-driven security,” has a new channel chief.
Jessica Couto takes over as vice president of worldwide channels and alliances for the company, just four months after Hexadite hired her to debut its first partner program. Shortly after Couto arrived, however, Microsoft jumped in and announced it was buying the company.
Couto has 15 years of experience in the channel, which includes a year and a half at Carbonite, where she was VP of U.S. channel sales and marketing. In her new job, she is tasked with developing a go-to-market strategy and laying the groundwork for IntSights’ new channel program for partners, resellers and managed security service providers (MSSPs). That will be done by establishing best practices and building a team of channel account managers to serve channel partners around the world.
“IntSights offers a unique and valuable tool that helps organizations make educated decisions about cyber threats and attacks,” said Couto. “I look forward to growing IntSights’ footprint in this area and establishing a channel program for our partners to use in all facets of their business.”

IntSights expects Couto to establish strategic alliances with resellers that focus on cyber intelligence — allowing the company to better tackle cyber threats “from the dark, deep and open web” for its customers.
“The channel program is a very strategic initiative for IntSights, and Jessica brings a wealth of experience as a leader in this space,” said Guy Nizan, IntSights CEO and co-founder. “We are excited to create a world-class program that addresses our partners’ security needs in every way.”
Couto‘s other industry experience includes work at LANDesk, Kaspersky Lab and Bit9/Carbon Black.
