Intelisys is bringing on a new solutions engineer who will help partners with their cloud sales.
The Petaluma, California-based master agent/distributor said Tuesday that it has hired Nick Tempesta to support partners in New England. He is the sixth solutions engineer on the company’s national team. Tempesta will report to Raymond Nelson, director of solutions engineering.
“As our East region continues to grow, it became clear that our sales partners could benefit from additional, dedicated solutions engineering resources in the Northeast,” Nelson said. “Nick’s drive for excellence really stood out in our recruitment process. He is a great fit with the Intelisys culture, and he brings a tremendous commitment to enabling our sales partners’ success.”
Tempesta most recently served as a channel partner manager for NaviSite. He worked with the company since 2011 and also served as a regional sales director. He was also a sales representative at Citrix. Intelisys says Tempesta brings experience in desktop as a service (DaaS) and infrastructure as a service (IaaS).
Tempesta says he hopes to quickly assure partners of his ability to help them increase their customers’ IT investments.

We’ve got our fingers on the pulse, and I am very excited to support and guide my partners through the full spectrum, from application to endpoint.”
