The Dell Internet of Things (IoT)  Solutions Partner Program is expanding with the addition of Systems Integrators (SIs).

The latest additions to the program include Action Point, Datatrend Technologies, L&T Technology Services and Mobiliya. The program ecosystem currently consists of more than 50 independent software vendors (ISVs).

“We are extremely excited to be collaborating with Dell on their innovative IoT Solutions Partner Program,” said CEO of Mobiliya Krish Kupathil. “With IoT demanding robust offerings across the technology spectrum, these kinds of partnerships are incredibly important.

In the IoT space, Mobiliya offers device-to-cloud system integration expertise along with deep knowledge in various IoT protocols and security. The combined competencies of both companies will provide significant value-add to customers across different industries, Kupathil added.

By adding SI’s to the IoT ecosystem, Dell’s goal is to build a holistic ecosystem of IoT solutions that span industries – from energy to manufacturing to transportation. SIs broaden the selection of partners capable of helping customers navigate, what Dell refers to as “the fragmented IoT landscape,” identify the right solution for their business, and take projects from proof of concept to a robust deployment.{ad}

“We’re passionate about providing our customers with a comprehensive IoT ecosystem to help them innovate and move an idea from concept to reality,” said Jeff Brown, vice president, Global IoT and Embedded PC Sales, Dell EMC, Global OEM Solutions. “By adding SIs into the mix, we are helping to bridge the gap between IT and OT, and transform IoT into a profitable market reality.”

In June, Dell also announced new and promoted IoT Solutions Partner Program members, such as new partner members VMware, Nokia and Eurotech and DGLogik, Exara and FogHorn, that moved up to the program’s Associate tier from Registered.

Dell IoT Solutions Partner Program includes technology providers, services providers and SIs. According to Dell, program tiers for technology providers include: registered partner, associate partner and executive partner. Services provider program tiers include: registered partner, preferred partner and premier partner. Proof of IoT competency is required for services providers and tier assignment is based on a revenue component.

Dell formed its IoT product division in May 2015 with the goal of partnering with operational technology companies to bridge the IT in the front office with operational technology. At the same time, Dell introduced an IoT gateway product.
