TBI Adds AT&T, Cisco Veterans

TBI, the Chicago-based master agent, has hired two national channel managers to help enlarge the company’s agent community.

TBI's Bill Vander VennetChannel managers for the Southeast and Southwest regions have signed on with TBI, which is entrusting them with its network of MSPs, VARs and consultants.

Texas-based Bill Vander Vennet will lead the Southwest efforts. He most recently worked as director of business development for CLEAResult and senior director for Acceller (later renamed Bridgevine). He also has five years of experience with AT&T, working for its national retail channel.

“Bill is an excellent addition to the TBI team,” said Mike Onystok, TBI’s director of national channel sales. “He is well equipped to support our partners and I am excited to see the impact he will bring to TBI and our agent community.”{ad}

TBI's Gary ButlerTBI has also hired Gary Butler to develop the Southeast region. Butler is based in Atlanta and has experience with Jacada and Cisco. TBI said he was responsible for starting the U.S. Cisco channel program.

“His extensive knowledge of the industry and channel will be highly beneficial to our agent partners and their customers,” said Ryan Schenkel, another TBI director of national channel sales.

Both new hires said they look forward to helping grow the company’s footprint in their respective regions.

“I look forward to leveraging my experience in the channel to best support TBI agents and increase revenue,” Butler said.
