Line Systems (LSI), the integrated communications provider, has added Jace Harris, formerly of Avaya, as a channel-partner manager based in Atlanta.

Line Systems' Jace HarrisHarris will be responsible for supporting LSI’s existing master agent relationships in the Southeast, most notably MicroCorp (Atlanta) and CNSG (Charlotte). He also will be tasked with increasing the number of active partners in that area of the country.

“The Southeast is without a doubt our fastest growing market,” said Bruce Wirt, LSI’s vice president of sales and marketing. “We wanted to put someone in that market that not only had experience and a connection to the master-agent community, but also could add tremendous value based on his existing relationships in conjunction with our Avaya SIP certification. I’m very excited to welcome Jace to the team.”

Harris previously was a territory channel account manager for Avaya based in Georgia. Prior to that, he was a contractor with Mobile Streams, and channel account manager at Copper Services by PGi.{ad}

Line Systems is a nationwide services provider with a fiber footprint in the eastern United States. Business is generated primarily through the agent community. It offers hosted PBX, SIP trunking and cloud application services, as well as more traditional voice services.

“Jace Harris was instrumental in helping Copper Services develop and build its partner channel for our conferencing and collaboration solutions,” said Carolyn Bradfield, now CEO of Convey Services. “His commitment to serving sales partners and their customers created opportunities not only to secure new accounts, but to grow the revenue within those accounts.  He’s an excellent addition to the LSI channel team.”
