Unitas Global Buys AOS Cloud to Expand Reach

Unitas Global is acquiring AOS Cloud, a technology consultant in the Midwest, to enhance and expand sales of its enterprise cloud services.

Unitas Global's Patrick ShuttIn addition, the acquisition expands the Unitas Global client base and creates a go-to-market partnership that strengthens its channel presence and market reach throughout the Midwest, including Kansas, Nebraska and Missouri, the company said.

Terms of the deal are not being disclosed.

Patrick Shutt, Unitas Global’s CEO, tells Channel Partners that his company’s partners will be able to offer their potential and existing clients a “technology platform of broader IT solutions, greater level of service and support through the merging of our resources, and depth of our combined experiences.”

“Our partners are thrilled about the acquisition, and the expanded managed hosting and services portfolio that they are now able to offer to their clients,” he said. “Our partners are seeing a real need in the enterprise market for remote management and IT infrastructure anywhere within global reach, coupled with tools to further simplify cloud consumption; and through the acquisition of AOS Cloud, we are able to better … serve the enterprise market.”{ad}

Unitas, which has experienced a 118 percent compound annual growth rate (CAGR) over the past 24 months, said it will grow immediately and improve in financial performance from this acquisition and relationship with AOS.

AOS partners also will be able to receive the benefits of both Unitas and AOS offerings, Shutt said. Unitas Global’s strengths in “enterprise cloud solutions are perfectly complemented by AOS Cloud’s breadth in managed hosting and systems support,” he said.

“Over the next 100 days, AOS Cloud will be fully integrated into the Unitas Global organization, allowing us to provide a higher level of designs, solutions and service experiences for our clients,” he said. “Both the Unitas and AOS partner programs will continue to exist and work together to deliver enhanced cloud services, design and delivery while also being able to offer (an) expanded managed hosting and services portfolio, including service desk.”
