Vaporstream’s New Channel Chief Plans Changes to Foster ‘Happy Partner Community’

B2B private messaging service Vaporstream has appointed Liz Lederer as its new channel chief, charged with leading the company’s Connect Partner Program.

Vaporstream's Liz LedererThe company also has partnered with LIFARS, an international incident response, digital forensics and cybersecurity intelligence firm. LIFARS will provide full deployment of Vaporstream’s secure, ephemeral messaging service to its current and future clients.

Lederer previously was senior vice president of channel partners/programs at Covertix, and has more than 21 years of business-development experience. As senior vice president of channel, she will be coordinating sales and partner program deployment.

Lederer tells Channel Partners that a “happy partner community” will help spread the word about Vaporstream and provide “real business value for our customers.” She’s planning to make changes in her new role.{ad}

“The most immediate change is revamping our partner website to spotlight our partners and the value they bring to current and future clients,” she said. “We are also creating a new partner portal for our customers that will house collateral and training materials to better enable the partner community.”

The two biggest issues facing Vaporstream are increasing brand awareness and finding ways to continuously meet the needs of current and potential clients, Lederer said.

“We plan to grow our partners at a steady pace based on vertical expertise and geographical locations,” she said. “Training, mentoring and marketing are the three pillars we will focus on with supporting our partner community. We have a great communication channel open with our partner community and work collaboratively on ideas. They have already made some great recommendations — which are all under consideration and we hope to implement some of their ideas soon. We are in it together and strive to build programs that will result in value added services with good margins.”
