MineralTree has expanded its partner program for resellers and business process outsourcers (BPOs) to help meet the technology needs of growing companies.
By offering MineralTree Invoice-to-Pay to clients, resellers and BPOs are able to expand their services and help midmarket companies move toward a more efficient accounts-payable process, according to the company. MineralTree provides accounts payable and payment automation services.
Colin Toomey, MineralTree’s new partner development manager, tells Channel Partners the company’s channel program has been in place for a year now and it has been working with just under 20 partners. By formalizing and expanding the program, MineralTree is looking to “dramatically grow the number of partners we work with,” he said.
“There’s a massive need for businesses to modernize their accounts-payable processes because, until now, it required complex, custom solutions that only the world’s largest companies could afford,” he said. “When you stop to think about that, it’s pretty shocking how far behind the world of business payments is when you compare it to the conveniences we’ve all become accustomed to in managing our personal finances. Now that we have a formalized program in place, expanding our network of partners will help us better educate people about the need for automation and show them that there’s a better way to handle the accounts payable process.”
MineralTree’s partners are organizations that resell or service enterprise resource planning (ERP) or accounting software, Toomey said. MineralTree integrates with Microsoft Dynamics GP, NetSuite, Intacct and QuickBooks.{ad}
“Every company has to pay their bills and we have seen a large shift in demand among midmarket companies to gain the same efficiencies that larger enterprises have already achieved in automating their accounts payable process,” he said. “With MineralTree, partners can provide a complete end-to-end solution that automatically captures invoice data, routes them for approval and executes payment on behalf of the customer. By providing our partners with more resources, training, and sales and marketing support, we can help them showcase how MineralTree can complement a company’s existing ERP or accounting system.”
As MineralTree enters a phase of hyper growth, there’s “no way we could reach such a sizable market through direct sales,” Toomey said.
“Reaching customers through partners and resellers is a big part of our expansion plans for 2016,” he said.
InterDyn BMI, a systems integrator for Microsoft products, is a member of MineralTree’s Reseller Program.
“Our goal is to deliver flexible, innovative and fully integrated systems to our customers,” said Jim Willems, InterDyn BMI’s business development manager. “MineralTree’s Invoice-to-Pay solution integrates directly with Microsoft GP, extending its functionality and making it a great value-add for our customers.”
