The Alliance Taps Fonality for Cloud UC Growth, Video Collaboration

Fonality has increased its commitment to the channel over the course of the past year, expanding its channel partner program significantly. It recently revealed that, in tandem, its unified communications as a service (UCaaS) and cloud VoIP phone systems saw record revenue growth and profitability for 2015, as it sold more than 22,000 new seats. The $45 million business phone system provider expects to see its growth continue to accelerate into 2016 and beyond as it ramps up its channel activities.

As part of its relationship with the Alliance, Fonality will sign no other new, direct regional or national master agent contracts for the rest of the year. Any new engagements with master agencies will be brokered and managed via the Alliance.

Alliance members will also benefit from advanced features, like the new video collaboration capabilities built into Fonality’s Heads Up Display (HUD). These just-launched options include meeting scheduling and management features, which are powered by Zoom, a leader in cloud-based video conferencing. Video Collaboration allows users to conduct interactive two-way audio and high-definition video meetings with screen sharing, chat, recording and more.

In August, the Alliance Partners announced an expansion of its Alliance Engage program, which connects telecom and IT providers with their agent networks through a series of portals. Through this program, a repository of information about Fonality, including sales sheets, case studies, white papers and current promotions or events, are now available to participating master agents and other members.
