Avant Teams With Cisco to Promote Cisco-Powered Cloud Services

As part of a panel discussion to be conducted this afternoon at Channel Partners Conference & Expo in Las Vegas, AVANT and Cisco will team to promote Cisco-Powered cloud services to the channel partner community.

A blog posting made today on AVANT’s website quotes Steve Benvenuto, senior director in Cisco’s cloud group: “Cisco’s Cloud and Managed Services Program (CMSP) has generated a strong pipeline of Cisco-Powered cloud services demand and we’re working with our channel partners to make them more successful in selling cloud. Andew Lydecker, president and co-founder of AVANT, is also quoted in the blog, saying “We are excited to help Cisco take their cloud solutions to market in a new and disruptive way. Whether you are a VAR, MSP or trusted adviser, you can plug into the AVANT platform and enablement tools, allowing you to go to market faster and more strategically.” According to the blog, AVANT is both the largest and the fastest-growing aggregator of Cisco-Powered cloud services.

Lydecker will moderate this afternoon’s event during which cloud service visionaries will also share their secrets to success in selling cloud services. Panelists taking part in the discussion will be Ellen Berlan of Cisco, Adam Burke of Quest, Carmen Sorice III of Sungard Availability Services, Frank Eagle of QTS and Steve Harris of Peak 10.
