Telarus partners can now sell Rackspace managed cloud services.

The companies gushed about each other in a news release Tuesday, when they announced their agreement to give Telarus VARs and MSPs access to Rackspace’s portfolio.

Telarus' Adam EdwardsTelarus CEO Adam Edwards said that the deal was “an easy decision,” calling Rackspace “the No. 1 managed cloud company.”

“They bring reliable cloud solutions that are in high demand by our sales partners and their business customers,” he said.

Texas-based Rackspace competes in the cloud provider space against giants such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure. Rackspace specializes in both public and private cloud as well as cloud-based applications.

Rackspace said the 1,500-plus agent partners of Telarus will fit in well.{ad}

“Both companies are known for offering cutting-edge technology and white-glove service,” said Justin Chris-Tensen, who leads Rackspace’s Master Agent Partner Program. “Telarus is the perfect master agent to offer Rackspace flexible cloud infrastructure and applications, and drive business value to their partners.”

Telarus notably owns the VXSuite diagnostic, having acquired it from its parent, LVM Inc., in September. That transaction has led to Telarus offering free circuit monitoring “on all circuits sourced through its contracts.”

Last week, Telarus announced that it had reached the elite level of Level 3 Communication’s partner program.

Rackspace has been busy signing up masters. In September, master agent PlanetOne Communications joined the cloud provider’s Partner Network.
