Distribution giant Tech Data is debuting an online learning management system that gives exclusive incentives, industry news, in-depth training and information about products and services to its HP-authorized solution providers.
Aptly dubbed “EmpowerMe,” the new system aims to give partners a training platform to help them grow. It’s designed to help solution providers find new business opportunities, enhance their productivity and streamline what they’re already doing.
“Education around new sales opportunities is essential because it gives solution providers the leading edge over their competition,” said Heather Murray, vice president, product marketing, HP Solutions Group at Tech Data.
EmpowerMe gives partners access to HP experts. It’s tailored to provide partners with benefits that include an improved understanding of HP services and how to sell them effectively; better support and training for new products; and a road map and training for HP certifications.
“The learning platform helps our company remain current with important information about HP’s products and services, while providing new ideas for growth opportunities,” said David Rounds, president at Net Effect, an IT, consulting and VoIP provider that’s also a Tech Data vendor partner.
