PRESS RELEASE — CLOUD PARTNERS — Mitel (Booth 825), a global leader in real-time business, cloud and mobile communications, today announced industry veteran Daryl Reva’s appointment as vice president overseeing the company’s global cloud marketing initiatives.
Reva joins Mitel just as the company’s cloud business continues its upward trajectory with double-digit seat growth in the last quarter, bringing its total cloud-installed base to more than 1.6 million users globally. As part of his responsibilities, Reva will support Mitel partners in the evolution and migration to the cloud. This includes expanding Mitel’s footprint around the world and ensuring customers and partners have a standard of excellence for delivering simple, flexible and scalable, cloud-based, business communications.
Reva’s career spans product and channel marketing-related positions at Fonality, Avaya and Nortel. In his most recent role at Fonality, he helped rebuild the organization’s channel program, implementing a marketing consultancy-like approach, which boosted recurring revenues by 40 percent and added more than 150 new partners to the ranks. The program transformation also earned him recognition as a 2015 Channel Chief.
“Mitel has a very compelling cloud story—one that combines a powerhouse provider with more than 40 years of experience in delivering rich telephony capabilities with the distinction of being an early innovator into public, private and hybrid cloud solutions,” said Reva, “That story is already resonating and I look forward to helping further drive the largest, global cloud-user base in the industry.”
