In her new job, Shandle will be tasked not only with supporting new and existing channel partners in the Southwest, but also educating them on Broadvoice’s expanding set of unified-communications services.
Shandle brings 19 years of experience to the job. Most recently, she was director of channel sales at PSI Networks, where she recruited more than 50 new agents in her first year with the company, achieving President’s Club status with more than $250,000 in sales. She started her career with AT&T Wireless, later joining Nextlink – purchased by XO Communications in 2009 – where she joined the company’s leadership team.
“Cathe’s industry knowledge and vast partner relationships in Southern California and beyond make her a key addition to the Broadvoice family,” said Jim Murphy, Broadvoice CEO. “Bringing on a regional channel director of Cathe’s caliber to support and expand our partner relationships in Southern California is important to Broadvoice. Being founded and headquartered in Los Angeles, we are committed to continuing to support and foster our VAR partners throughout the region.”
“Having sold Broadvoice’s services to my partners during my tenure at my former company, I know firsthand Broadvoice’s commitment to their partners and customers,” said Shandle. “I am excited to join a team that has the same passion, vision and commitment to the success of our partners as I do and look forward to continuing to build upon their rapidly growing channel program.”
It’s the second significant hire for Broadvoice in the past five days. Last week the company said that Tricia Cable will fill a similar role in the Southeast.
