At NewCloud, Mares will be responsible for direct sales, account management and business development. Partners will recognize him for his channel role at NetApp, where he held roles in sales, partner management and engineering. NewCloud snapped Mares up in part thanks to a track record of developing, implementing and executing sales growth strategies and outperforming sales goals by 150 percent.

Mares also has sales experience with Long View Systems and Dell.
