At NewCloud, Mares will be responsible for direct sales, account management and business development. Partners will recognize him for his channel role at NetApp, where he held roles in sales, partner management and engineering. NewCloud snapped Mares up in part thanks to a track record of developing, implementing and executing sales growth strategies and outperforming sales goals by 150 percent.
“The addition of Sean Mares as vice president of sales is critical to capitalizing on sustained cloud demand across all markets, to penetrating new mid-enterprise accounts, and to effectively scaling sales operations across the country,” said Sam V. Kumar, founder and president of NewCloud.
“I am excited to join NewCloud Networks,” said Mares. “I am confident that my experience and drive will help contribute to increased profitability and improved efficiency as NewCloud scales sales operations across the United States. There is incredible opportunity for growth at NewCloud and I look forward to working with the other distinguished members of the executive team to capitalize on it.”
Mares also has sales experience with Long View Systems and Dell.
There is a wide variety of ways for partners to work with NewCloud – including its Cloud Partner Program, Agent Program, Reseller Program, White Label Cloud Program and more. The company, which was founded more than 25 years ago, specializes in hybrid cloud, cloud desktops, backup, disaster recovery and hosted PBX.
