SkyKick has unveiled a new tool that it says greatly speeds up the migration to Microsoft Office 365.
The “Hands-Free” technology allows partners to automatically plan, manage, migrate and set up Outlook for an entire company without requiring end-users to provide email password information or to install any software.
“SkyKick’s new Hands-Free migration feature will eliminate the effort that partners and customers currently face in completing the steps required to migrate users,” said CenterPoint Solution President Melanie Gass.
The new application feature also offers an alternative to hybrid migrations, which is a capability of 2010 or 2013 on-premises Exchange servers. SkyKick says Hands-Free allows partners to get the key benefit of a hybrid migration for less money, with faster deployment and support for a wider set of customers. It provides a hybrid-like experience for both complete migrations and those in stages for Google, and hosted and on-premises Exchange environments of any size.
The technology is now available in SkyKick’s SMB and Enterprise Migration Suites. SkyKick claims its product has been used by thousands of IT solution providers to move tens of thousands of businesses around the world to Office 365.
Just last month, Seattle-based SkyKick announced a partnership with Ingram Micro, which began offering Office 365 through its Cloud Marketplace. Partners who sell it get automatic access to the SkyKick Migration Suite.
