CHANNEL PARTNERS — Comcast Business (Booth 815 and an Elite Sponsor) on Tuesday said its SIP trunks are available throughout its entire service area, covering 39 states and 20 of the nation’s top 25 markets.
The SIP trunks complement Comcast’s voice portfolio, including cloud-hosted PBX, PRI trunks and Business Voice offerings, the company said. The inclusion of SIP trunking means SMEs and large enterprises now have access to a wide range of voice and UC technologies and features, and start transitioning to the latest voice technologies.
“Comcast Business SIP Trunks rounds out our voice portfolio and allows us to customize a voice solution to meet the needs of customers of all sizes and technology needs,” said Caitlin Clark-Zigmond, senior director, product management – advanced voice at Comcast Business. “Customers with modern PBXs will benefit from SIP, which is more cost-effective and flexible than a TDM-based solution.”
