Vonage Makes Splash With 2 Telesphere-Designed UCaaS Products

CHANNEL PARTNERS — Vonage (Booth 628 and an Elite Sponsor) intends to make an impact this week and emphasize to partners that it’s not just a consumer brand.

With both the Vocalocity and Telesphere acquisitions now under its belt, Vonage is launching two new business products, and talking up its support and capabilities for the indirect channel.

To the latter point, look for an exclusive article from Channel Partners to post Tuesday morning, with more details on the $114 million Vonage-Telesphere deal from Vonage’s Alan Masarek and Telesphere’s Clark Peterson.

For now, check out the Vonage booth for the scoop on VideoConnect and ChannelSphere. Telesphere designed both products with businesses’ UCaaS needs in mind.

For example, VideoConnect provides an on-demand virtual meeting space with business-quality face-to-face video collaboration. Anyone with a browser and a webcam may access the service.

ChannelSphere, meantime, is a proprietary partner portal meant to save time even while generating an individualized quote. Via ChannelSphere, partners get access to tools to instantly auto-configure a cloud platform and provide quotes that included recommended hardware and software, for example. ChannelSphere offers co-branded, customizable sales proposals and electronic signature integration.
