RCN Business Launches Channel Program

CHANNEL PARTNERS — RCN Business (a hospitality suite sponsor) says it has launched its partner program for select and regional telecom agents and systems integrators selling IP-based voice, data and video.

The program is available to agents in all RCN markets, including Boston, Chicago, Lehigh Valley (Penn.), New York City, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. Inaugural participants include the following master agents: BCM One Inc., Glacier Communications Inc., NEF Inc. and TeleDomani Inc.

RCN Business benefits include competitive compensation, flexible business services, and sales enablement tools to help agents qualify and close deals. Other highlights include around-the-clock, U.S.-based customer support.

“RCN Business offers agents a way to compete with the incumbent providers by leveraging our state-of-the-art fiber and coax-based products, wholly owned network and the ability to quickly build into targeted areas,” said Robert Roeder, executive vice president and chief development officer of RCN. “Agents benefit from a dedicated channel management team, service level agreements, local support and a commitment of responsiveness and accountability to our customers.”

The provider offers products including Metro Ethernet connections up to 10 Gbps; PRI and SIP trunking; voice services; and broadband Internet access with download speeds up to 110 Mbps.
