CHANNEL PARTNERS Intelisys Communications (Booth 738) on Monday released the second track – Cloud Computing Solutions Professional – in its new Intelisys Cloud Services University (iCSU) certification curriculum.
iCSU launched its first track in February; more than 300 channel partners have registered for the course, according to Intelisys, with many already earning that first certification.
The Cloud Computing track now is available from CloudServicesUniversity.com. It takes a deep dive into the cloud technologies driving growth within the channel and shows partners how to identify prospects, move them through the pipeline and close deals, Intelisys said.
“Cloud is booming, and we want to enable our sales partners to engage successfully,” said Andrew Pryfogle, senior vice president, cloud transformation, Intelisys.
In specific, the track covers virtualization and data migration strategies; big data; application management; DaaS; and cloud storage architectures. Partners will learn about different cloud silos, and what workloads make sense where. Intelisys said earning certification in its iCSU courses will allow channel partners to better position themselves to clients and give themselves a competitive edge in the market.
“Intelisys Cloud Services University has provided a fast-track educational process, helping us understand how we could recreate our agency and ultimately build a consulting practice around cloud services and substantial contracted revenue we were previously not able to introduce, implement and support for our … customers,” Gary Keswick, president of Communications Management Group, said about the training.
The new Cloud Computing Solutions Professional Certification Track is self-paced and designed for IT and telecom professionals. Throughout 2015, Intelisys will release more certification tracks, including Advanced Data Networking Solutions Professional, UCaaS Solutions, Network & Data Security, and Advanced IT Management.
