CHANNEL PARTNERS Fonality (Booth 1139) says its recurring commissions payouts doubled in 2014, contributing to 300 percent growth over the past three years.
The business phone systems and software provider says the increase comes as partners have found success selling its subscription-based services. Last year, Fonality revamped its channel program to help agents, VARs and MSPs transition to the cloud. That “No Bull” approach has paid off, Fonality said.
To that point, the program in 2014 eliminated complex commission structures and tiers so partners could more easily shoot for, and attain, sales goals. Fonality said the change has resulted in more than 150 new partners and a 40 percent boost in recurring revenue.
“Businesses are becoming increasingly aware of how the cloud can help them grow, and our partners are taking note of this market shift by diversifying their portfolio at a rapid pace,” said David Scult, CEO of Fonality. “We’re thrilled to see partners achieve a new level of success in the cloud industry with our no-nonsense partner program.”
After debuting “No Bull,” Fonality also added its Partner Exchange community, featuring product information, industry insight and best practices; Marketing 360, an initiative that helps certified partners via tools and co-investment funds; and “0-60,” a partner training and sales and marketing platform.
Fonality offers hybrid-hosted products for end users who aren’t quite ready to fully move into the cloud.
