Cosentry this week introduced new managed security and compliance services for businesses transitioning data and applications to cloud or colocation environments.
Cosentry, based in Omaha, Nebraska, says the new services also will ease the burden on IT departments.
“Achieving, maintaining and demonstrating IT compliance has always been a time-consuming process that pulls the IT staff away from revenue-generating projects,” said Craig Hurley, VP of product management, Cosentry. “Our Managed Compliance Service assumes the IT-related responsibilities for adherence while also helping to ensure data meets the most current industry standards or government regulations.”
Cosentry’s managed security portfolio includes network security (firewall management and VPN services), server security (antivirus and intrusion detection/prevention) and advanced services (vulnerability management, penetration testing and log monitoring).
Partners take note: Demand for Cosentry’s services are growing rapidly in the health-care market, where companies are forced to shell out significant fines if they aren’t HIPAA-compliant.
The company’s Synergy Channel Partner Program includes the opportunity to sell data center services – including colocation and disaster recovery – as well as managed services and consulting, IaaS and cloud services. Cosentry works with MSPs, VARs, IT consultants, systems integrators and more.
