IT distributor Tech Data will offer Cisco’s full line of cybersecurity solutions to its solution-provider partners throughout the Americas.
That includes the latest network security appliances and services from Cisco’s recent Sourcefire acquisition, as well as a broad set of enforcement and remediation options through the Cisco Solutions Group in the company’s Advanced Infrastructure Solutions (AIS) division.
“As the Internet of Everything continues to create new opportunities from networked connections among people, processes, data, and things, we will continue to see a growing risk of security threats pertaining to cloud computing, mobility and the data center,” said Angie Beltz, vice president, product marketing, Cisco Solutions Group at Tech Data. “Through Cisco’s next-generation intrusion prevention systems (NGIPS) and advanced malware protection, we are offering a comprehensive array of security solutions that provide an integrated threat defense for the entire attack continuum – before, during, and after an attack – so end users will have protection across the extended network.”
“Now could not be a better time for channel partners to invest in security and grow their practices,” said Andrew Sage, vice president of Americas Distribution at Cisco. “Tech Data and Cisco together provide the technology, training and services for solution providers to capture the security market and drive new opportunities to increase profits.”
Tech Data will incorporate Cisco’s security solutions into Momentum, its partner enablement and education tool. Through Momentum, partners are provided marketing campaigns, lead generation, case studies, and playbooks to use as selling tools to successfully launch Cisco into their practice.
