Estech Solutions (ESI), the phone systems and cloud-services provider, has expanded and enhanced its mobile-application offerings.
Among the changes are new features for its Ditto Cloud PBX application, the launch of the beta version of the company’s IP 900 Mobile application, and a new, 30-day trial for its Abillity mobile billing application.
ESI Ditto, released in September, mirrors the functionality of an ESI desk phone for Cloud PBX users, and has been updated with a streamlined user interface and a split-screen layout, as well as new navigation. Available on both Apple and Android devices, ESI Ditto provides single-number reach, visual voice mail, Wi-Fi-to-cellular handoff and an integrated SIP Web-based dashboard.
The beta version of IP 900 Mobile is the companion application for the IP Server 900 solution. This version has similar functionality to ESI Ditto but serves businesses with on-premises communications systems. Abillity, a billing application that captures and classifies the billable status of phone calls, allows users to track hours in real time.
“The modern workplace is becoming increasingly less restricted by location and more dependent on technology,” said George Platt, ESI’s chief executive officer. “With the growth of BYOD and the remote workforce, we designed our applications to meet demand for on-the-go communication while still maintaining the ESI experience our customers have grown to love.”
