Verizon continued its hot streak, getting the nod as the top wireless network in Denver, according to the latest research from RootMetrics, the mobile analytics firm.
Big Red’s overall score of 96.6 topped T-Mobile’s 96.1, but it was close enough to be declared a virtual tie. AT&T wasn’t far behind, with a tally of 93.9 points, and Sprint fared better in the Rockies than it did in most other cities this year, nabbing 92.3 points.
This is the second consecutive time that Verizon and T-Mobile have shared the top honors in Denver.
A strong RootMetrics score indicates strong overall coverage and a good consumer experience. The overall performance category includes results across data, call and text testing.
“We’re seeing strong scores for network reliability across all four carriers in Denver,” said Bill Moore, RootMetrics CEO. “With Verizon and T-Mobile neck-and-neck for distinction as most reliable network in the area, and AT&T and Sprint close behind, the competition is tight and that’s great news for mobile consumers.”
