Lightower has completed what it’s calling a major expansion of its network in Virginia and Washington, D.C., with the addition of 1,100 miles of fiber.
“At Lightower, we believe in bringing the network to the customers, expanding geographically while still bringing service into individual commercial facilities,” explained Rob Shanahan, CEO of Lightower. “Today, network infrastructure is a critical component of an organization’s overall ability to perform and execute. This network expansion will allow Lightower to bring our high performance solutions to thousands upon thousands of new customers throughout Virginia, greater Washington D.C., and now also North Carolina.”
Lightower offers services such as Ethernet, dark fiber, video transport solutions, managed private network solutions, wireless backhaul and more.
