Reinvention Comes to ConnectWise, Its Partners

ConnectWise is pushing the idea of reinvention at the tenth annual IT Nation event, being held this week in Florida.

CEO Arnie Bellini told a standing-room-only crowd of IT partners on Thursday that the company has upgraded its business management platform with capabilities including:

  • Cloud migration simplification and speed;
  • User interface improvements;
  • Email tagging for service tickets; and
  • Active Directory integration so users are identifiable.

The new version is being called ConnectWise 2015.1.

“Our first goal as a company is to inspire our partners to drive industry reinvention through collaboration and the power of community,” Bellini said. “To do this we’re taking our company through a reinvention of its own by moving the ConnectWise platform beyond being just ‘user friendly’ to what we like to call ‘brain friendly.’ This new model will simplify the partner experience and allow partners to spend less time focusing on process and increase attention on their customers.”  

The message of reinvention comes as channel partners across the IT and telecom spectrum are challenged to evolve their business models to accommodate the cloud, recurring revenue and increasingly complex demands from customers.
