Lua, which bills itself as the mobile-first enterprise communications solution, has hired Ryan Snell as vice president of sales for the Americas.
Snell comes to Lua from Whiptail, where he was VP and general manager of the Americas. He was appointed regional manager of the Americas after the company was bought by Cisco late last year. Snell teams up again with Whiptail co-founder Brian Feller, who Lua hired as its VP of global sales in June.
Before his time at Cisco/Whiptail, Snell served in enterprise sales at Symantec, where he concentrated on the security and management of endpoint solutions. He’s also worked at Citrix.
“With Ryan deepening our bench, we are uniquely well-positioned to leverage our client success, user experience and unique organizational insights to push further into the enterprise,” said Michael DeFranco, Lua CEO.
“I couldn’t be more excited to quickly scale the Lua salesforce in the Americas to help our customers and channel partners address the unbridled demand for an intuitive, easy to adopt, mobile solution dedicated to one’s work life,” said Snell.
