Skykick, a leading provider of tools and services that help partners adopt Microsoft’s Office 365 technology, has expanded its management team. New to the company are Chief Operating Office Steve Bonilla, Vice President of Business Development Peter Labes and Vice President of International Eric Jewett.
The additions will help the company better manage its growing operations, penetrate new markets overseas and get closer to important channel allies, the company said in a press statement.
The additions follow on the heels of news in July that SkyKick had attracted an additional $3 million in strategic capital, bringing its total capital raised to $7.2 million.
Bonilla, a seasoned business veteran, comes to SkyKick from Spiraledge, the parent company to SwimOutlet.com. At Spiraledge Bonilla served as COO. Previously, he held senior positions at Accenture and Digital Impact.
Labes and Jewett, meanwhile, both join SkyKick from Microsoft. Jewett served as worldwide director for Microsoft Azure Enterprise Sales Strategy, senior director of Microsoft Azure for Western Europe, and worldwide director of Windows Server and Virtualization Marketing.
Channel watchers stateside are perhaps more familiar with Labes, who recently served as senior cloud strategy lead for Microsoft’s U.S. SMB Channel Group. There, he spearheaded efforts to cultivate ties to new channel partners including telecom agents and helped drive sales of Office 365 with more traditional partners.
“SkyKick has a proven and scalable platform for activating and accelerating partners on Office 365,” Labes said in an email exchange. “We are also a Microsoft Cloud Technology Partner currently engaged in enabling Microsoft’s largest one- and two-tier channel partners across licensing models and across the globe.”
