CenturyLink Inc. said today it will establish a new data center presence at Switch SUPERNAP in Las Vegas.
The deal means Switch customers will get access to CenturyLink’s data centers in Asia, Europe and North America, as well as its colocation, cloud, managed services and network services. Meanwhile, CenturyLink’s customers are able to add hosting and colocation space in Las Vegas.
Privately held Switch is based in Las Vegas. Its data center campus measure 1.7-million square feet and features Uptime Institute-certified Tier IV Gold carrier-neutral colocation facility designation, among other such distinctions.
CenturyLink this year has added data centers in Hong Kong, Minneapolis, Phoenix and Toronto, and expanded others in markets including Chicago and Irvine, Calif.
