It comes as no surprise that the cloud-based contact center market is poised for growth, but new research indicates it could be larger than many of us had expected.
MarketsandMarkets looked into its crystal ball and determined that this market will grow from a little more than $4 billion this year to nearly $11 billion in 2019. That’s a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of more than 21 percent.
The research firm says challenges in cloud-based contact center sales surround customers’ concerns over the risk of information loss and reduced control after outsourcing.
By region, North America is expected to be the biggest market in terms of revenue contribution, while emerging economies such as Middle East and Africa (MEA), Latin America (LA), and Asia-Pacific (APAC) are all expected to see increases.
