SYNNEX Corp. made two distribution announcements this week and launched a special new tool for solution providers.
First, the company said it has teamed with Plantronics. Partners now may sell gear including headsets and other wearable devices, speaker phones and telephones. Plantronics also brings to the deal the ability for partners to support UC via some new services, such as tools for configuring settings and updating audio device software and firmware.
Next, SYNNEX also has joined forces with OneAccess Networks, which makes routers that enable cloud application delivery. SYNNEX resellers are able to include the One Series products in their managed services portfolios, allowing for scaling of voice, video or data from 10Mbps-700Mbps. Software features include eSBC, application visibility, control and acceleration.
Finally, SYNNEX launched its convergence design tool built for Avaya technologies. The resource lets partners customize platforms based on Avaya IP Office, simplifying integration with Avaya’s pricing, promotions and deal registration.
“This enhancement to the SYNNEX solutions portfolio demonstrates our commitment to equipping resellers with the industry’s most innovative tools and resources to help differentiate themselves from their competition,” said Peter Larocque, President, North America Distribution, SYNNEX Corporation.
“Giving resellers the ability to create a design, send pricing to end users and easily convert that design into an order is truly a game-changing solution for our customers in this space,” said Peter Larocque, president of SYNNEX’s North America distribution division, in a prepared statement.
The next phase of the Convergence Design Tool will include other vendors, servers and services.
