tw telecom, the business Ethernet and networking solutions provider, has announced significant network and service expansions in three major markets.
First, the company said it is expanding its nationwide network solutions into Cleveland. tw telecom is now able to deploy is portfolio of data and Internet services to more enterprises in Ohio, where it already operates in Cincinnati, Columbus and Dayton. As part of its entrance into Cleveland, tw telecom recently signed an agreement with BlueBridge Networks, a data center and managed services provider, to provide customers of its downtown Cleveland data center with its networking solutions.
tw telecom also is expanding its network and product suite in New York’s Hudson Valley and western Connecticut. Enterprises and data center customers in Westchester and Fairfield counties; the Bronx; Greenwich and Stamford, Connecticut; will all have access to the company’s services.
In addition, the company named longstanding New York telecom executive Carl Bonitz as its vice president and general manager for the Westchester market. In this capacity, Bonitz is responsible for supervising and supporting the growth of this newly expanded market, as well as revenue, operation plans and lead-generation programs.
Last but not least, tw telecom is expanding its existing network in San Diego with service into the fast growing business parks of Carlsbad.
