RapidMiner has a new president and chief operating officer.
It’s Michele Chambers, who brings more than 25 years of high-tech experience to her role at RapidMiner. She is a twice-published author in the subject of modern analytics. At RapidMiner, she is responsible for marketing, products and global strategy.
“Michele’s arrival signals our continued success in building out a world-class leadership team at RapidMiner,” said Ingo Mierswa, CEO and co-founder. “Her broad experience in leading market strategy, go-to-market, and product management at disruptive and innovative analytic companies will accelerate our growth in commercial markets as well as our thriving and growing community. We are very excited to have Michele on our team.”
Most recently, Chambers was the vice-president of marketing at MemSQL, a provider of distributed, in-memory databases, where she was responsible for branding, demand generation and marketing strategy. She’s also worked at Revolution Analytics, where Chambers led the strategy, product management and product marketing for the commercial distributor of R. Prior to that, as the GM and VP of Analytics, she was responsible for the launch and go-to-market of Netezza Analytics, and the transition into the IBM Big Data portfolio.
RapidMiner, which sells through channel partners, this summer named Michael Doane its new channel chief.
