Microsoft Corp. is releasing Dynamics CRM 2015 in the fourth quarter of this year.
The company also is updating the online and marketing services associated with the Dynamics platform. Overall, the enhancements are designed to help the different divisions in a business better collaborate, Microsoft said in a Sept. 16 news release.
“Unlike vendors that want to separate businesses by selling them countless different clouds and solutions, we have designed Microsoft Dynamics CRM to facilitate the kind of collaboration that businesses need to thrive and grow,” said Bob Stutz, corporate vice president of Microsoft Dynamics CRM. “This means that marketers and sellers can work more closely together to engage customers, bridging the chasm between marketing, sales and service to truly deliver end-to-end experiences that customers will love.”
For example, the update versions will allow marketers to more effectively plan and execute campaigns and better track the impact of those projects, according to Microsoft. Plus, Microsoft Dynamics CRM will feature greater interoperability with applications including Microsoft Office 365, Yammer, Lync, Skype, SharePoint and Power BI for Office 365.
