CompTIA said on Tuesday that its CertMaster learning course now is available worldwide for the CompTIA Security+ (SY0-401) certification exam.
Security+ is known for its cybersecurity expertise; indeed, cybersecurity is one of the fastest-growing IT careers. CompTIA’s exam tests for skills including mobile security and BYOD; risk mitigation; and authentication, authorization and access control.
CertMaster is a self-paced online tool that teaches IT skills. The software – accessible from desktops, laptops, tablets or smartphones – combines principles and research from brain science, neurobiology, cognitive psychology and game study to help users master, not just memorize, the material they need to learn and retain, CompTIA said.
CompTIA CertMaster is available for the CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+ and Strata IT Fundamentals exams. More exams will be added in the coming months.
CompTIA also noted that its CertMaster for Security+ (SY0-301) license will be available for purchase through Sept. 30. All licenses are valid for one year from the date they’re bought.
