NetCarrier, a facilities-based CLEC that only sells through the channel, said this week it has added Converged Network Services Group to its partner program.
CNSG is one of only five Platinum master agents for NetCarrier. That’s because NetCarrier is choosy about who it adds to its roster.
“I’ve been outspoken about the positives and negatives of master agents in the past, but this is truly a partnership built on trust and shared values,” said Bruce Wirt, vice president of channel sales at NetCarrier. “CNSG not only offers us a single point of contact to help support our smaller partners, but they also offer us the ability to symbiotically purchase last-mile and broadband services from them as well.”
NetCarrier said it now sells through almost 1,000 agents and subagents. That includes CNSG’s agents, who get access to NetCarrier’s nCloud suite, as well as MPLS, Ethernet, Exchange, firewall and more.
“One of the attractive things about NetCarrier is their flexibility,” said CNSG CEO Matt Harty. “Not only will they allow customers to bring their own bandwidth for cloud-based services, but they encourage it for dynamic PRI and SIP-based products as well. That was big for us.”
