CLOUD PARTNERS – VAR Dynamics (Booth 711) on Monday unveiled its Super Partner Channel program.
The initiative is part of the cloud marketplace’s ReadyNow Partner Program. Super Partner Channel lets master partners – master agents, telcos, distributors, MSPs, cloud aggregators and marketplace vendors – deliver private-label cloud and hosted services, and offer those platforms to their resellers. In turn, channel partners may brand their own control panels, and provision and manage customers’ accounts.
Master partners receive deep discounts on wholesale pricing and have the option to provision direct customers, which means high-margin recurring revenue.
“We’ve always welcomed master partner relationships; however, those master partners came with development teams who leveraged our API,” said Melony White, VAR Dynamics’ channel director. “We’ve architected our Control Panel to allow partners to manage another tier of resellers, not just customers. Master partners can now use our UI to go to market faster, without development lead time.”
The VAR Dynamics Control Panel is designed so that someone logging in will only see the branding of the company that sold the service to them.
This means a customer will log into the Control Panel of a reseller; and a reseller logs into the Control Panel of a Super Partner. Super Partners can manage all tiers underneath. In most cases the Super Partner owns the relationship with the reseller and the reseller owns the relationship with the customer.
