This is the third major market launch of MiCloud Enterprise UCaaS since Mitel first introduced the service in the United States six months ago. The UK rollout took place in May. Mitel gained as-a-service expertise with its recent, $374 million purchase of Aastra.
Now, VARs, integrators and other partners in Canada may offer Mitel’s UCaaS to their clients.
“For many channel partners, this solution is their bridge to being able to deploy and support their own cloud service while creating recurring revenue streams and providing their customers attractive services for business communications in the cloud,” said Tom Lang, vice president, Canada, Mitel.
Excel Telecom Inc., Incotel-GH IP Solutions, Introtel Communications Inc., Merbridge Networks Corp., Minitel Communications Corp., RackForce Networks Inc. and Williams Telecommunications Corp. all are among the early partners to offer MiCloud Enterprise UCaaS.
Mitel said more UCaaS market rollouts are forthcoming, but did not say where or when. MiCloud Enterprise UCaaS can be deployed via a public, private or hybrid cloud. It works with mobile devices.
