Information security vendor SafeNet Inc. has upgraded its channel program.
The 31-year-old company this week debuted changes including a tiered structure (Silver, Gold and Platinum); an enhanced partner portal with features including profile and lead management, and training; simplified pricing and increased discounts; and deal registration. SafeNet also is investing in partner accreditation, and sales and marketing efforts.
All of the improvements accommodate the channel’s growth in cloud, virtualization and mobility, SafeNet said.
“Over the past 12 months, channel partners have more than doubled the incremental revenue contribution delivered to SafeNet,” said Laurie Usewicz, vice president of channel sales for SafeNet. As such, the supplier’s program improvements “will help increase the value of being a SafeNet Cipher channel partner while making it easy to do business with us,” Usewicz said.
