Software and services provider Interactive Intelligence Group Inc. is talking up its new PureCloud platform, which will be available in the United States through channel partners and direct sales teams in the fourth quarter.
PureCloud is built on top of Amazon Web Services. Its services will encompass UC, contact center automation, and document management and workflow.
But Interactive Intelligence has added other features as well, such as a scheme that matches customer interactions with contact center agents. Further, for the contact center portion, there’s a service that lets customer view agent profiles and performance, including ratings and wait time, so they can choose the person best qualified to help them. Finally, PureCloud also comes with a corporate directory that includes profile content such as skills, work experience and location. The directory contains native mobile apps for iOS, Android and Windows 8 Phone, and synchs with applications including Active Directory, Exchange, WorkDay, SharePoint and Salesforce.
PureCloud can be provisioned on-premise, or as a single-tenant or multitenant cloud service.
