AT&T Inc. has taken its Wireless Home Phone & Internet package nationwide.
The product was launched last year on a trial basis in parts of the northeastern United States. Now, Ma Bell is releasing the bundle across the country, with the addition of 4G LTE accessibility.
AT&T Wireless Home Phone & Internet lets customers complete calls from their home phone handsets, but the calls use AT&T’s wireless network instead of a landline connection.
That means users may keep their home numbers and phones. It also means they may take a device called “Home Base” wherever there is an AT&T wireless connection and keep making calls. AT&T Wireless Home Phone & Internet further allows for the ability to connect up to 10 Wi-Fi-capable devices, often hooking up to AT&T’s 4G LTE connectivity.
