Huawei on Wednesday named Ming He as country general manager of operations in the United States.
The China-based equipment maker has been making inroads within the U.S. – among both enterprises and service providers – as it competes with companies including Cisco and Juniper Networks. He’s appointment gives him responsibility for both the carrier network and the enterprise business groups. He is based out of Huawei’s Plano, Texas, U.S. headquarters.
He previously led Huawei’s U.S. Carrier Network unit. He has worked for Huawei since 1997.
