AT&T says eight companies are on its newly released list of Supplier Award winners, recognized for their outstanding performance and service to the carrier’s affiliates during the past year.
“Our suppliers play a vital role in helping us deliver the great products and services that our customers have come to expect from AT&T,” said Tim Harden, president of AT&T Supply Chain and Fleet Operations. “We acknowledge our most strategic suppliers by awarding those that have stood out in providing value and exceeding expectations with the AT&T Supplier Award.”
The winners consist of (in alphabetical order): Amdocs, CEB, EMC, FleishmanHillard, Fujitsu Network Communications, KGP Companies, MasTec Network Solutions and Samsung Telecommunications. They’re part of an elite group; AT&T uses more than 5,000 companies as major suppliers for materials and services.
The AT&T Supplier Award program annually honors suppliers who provide products or services that support AT&T operations for their contributions across a broad scope of selection criteria, including supplier diversity results, creative cost management solutions, teamwork, customer service, product/service performance and sustainability.
“Successful business relationships are based on trusted collaborations, and Amdocs is honored to receive the AT&T supplier award for 2014,” said Anthony Goonetilleke, division president at Amdocs. “As we look towards the future, we are excited to further collaborate with AT&T.”
