VIRGO, an information distribution company focused on the most innovative and complex business-to-business markets that fuel the U.S. and world economies, is launching The Cloudys, a new program to recognize innovation in cloud delivery throughout the evolving partner ecosystem – from solution providers to enablers and from startups to market leaders.
“The Cloudys: Cloud Channel Innovation Awards” honor innovation in the new world of cloud technology where traditional distinctions between developer, vendor, provider and partner blur.
“Because cloud computing is having such a transformative impact on the technology industry, we wanted to create an awards program to mirror that transformation” said Katherine Clements, vice president of the Cloud & Communications Network at VIRGO. “Therefore, we created categories that allow all players in the cloud ecosystem to participate and be recognized.”

A judging panel of Channel Partners editors will select the winners in each category. Winners for each category will be awarded a trophy at a special ceremony at the 2014 Cloud Partners event, Sept. 8-10, in New Orleans. Winners will also profiled in a special Immersion Center on Channel Partners online.
Applications for The Cloudys will be accepted through May 31, 2014.
