ORLANDO – SYNNEX Canada Ltd. resellers now have access to the distributor’s CLOUDSolv and SERVICESolv marketplaces.
SYNNEX said the move comes as part of the company’s intent to align resources in North America.
In the United States, CLOUDSolv features more than 50 vendors. In Canada, that number will be lower as solutions providers tend to prefer depth over breadth, said Jon Allen, vice president of cloud for SYNNEX.
“There’s just a little variance,” he said.
Overall, however, CLOUDSolv’s capabilities, such as real-time provisioning, or preconfigured or customized bundling, remain the same. CLOUDSolv launches in Canada with Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe Creative Cloud for Teams. Soon, Carbonite, Google Chrome Management Console and hardware-as-a-service will join that list.
Meantime, SERVICESolv offers technical services. A SYNNEX team is supporting resellers in Canada with pre-sales help such as configuration validation for servers, storage, cloud readiness, VDI, wireless networks, network security and more. That’s usually done in a two-hour timeframe, but Varnex Canada members get prioritized response times, SYNNEX said.
Additional services include on-site implementation.
SYNNEX Canada said bringing CLOUDSolv and SERVICESolv to the Great White North came in response to reseller demand. The distributor aims to help its channel partners augment their cloud and managed services practices so they can move from transactional models to those supported by long-term recurring revenue.
