Dimension Data has added Cisco‘s Hosted Collaboration Solutions (HCS) platform to its cloud UC portfolio.
Dimension Data, an IT services provider, will deliver Cisco HCS via public, private and hybrid cloud services. Dimension Data already provides voice, video, contact center, IM and presence, and has sold Cisco products for more than 20 years.
“By expanding our existing cloud services with Cisco, we now have the ability to provide UC via the cloud, so that our clients can reap the benefits of the solution without needing to invest in complex and costly implementation and maintenance,” said Scott Cruikshank, director of converged communications for Dimension Data. “This frees up clients’ IT resources so that they can focus them on other parts of the business that need attention.”
Dimension Data’s Managed Cloud Platform (MCP) has achieved the Global Cisco Cloud and Managed Services Advanced Certification. Dimension Data’s HCS-based offering will be available later this year.
