Digium has added the new Gigabit-capable D45 to its family of IP phones, which use open-source software Asterisk and Unified Communications system Switchvox.
Digium’s D40, D50 and D70 VoIP telephones have shown rapid growth since their introduction, the company said. The addition of the D45 expands the range of options for businesses of all sizes by offering a full-featured SIP phone with a dual-port, 1000 Mbps switch at an economical price.
“The D45 IP phone meets the demands of today’s intense network requirements,” Digium director of product management Mark Amick said. “Modern phones need to be able to do more than simply make phone calls. The D45 delivers with easy auto-provisioning, advanced user phone apps and GigE capability, all at a compelling price point.”
Digium IP phones range in price from $129 to $299.
