CHANNEL PARTNERS Fiber services provider Zayo Group (Booth 2027) on Wednesday made three key announcements.
First, the company said its indirect channel brought in record sales for the fourth quarter of 2013. The total came to $469,000, an increase of 38 percent over the same period a year earlier. Zayo said its channel also reported record gross installations of $382,000 in 2013’s fourth quarter.
Next, Zayo said it has implemented a new channel structure. Instead of five regions, Zayo now divides its channel into three: West, Central and East. Each territory features a channel manager and an account manager, for increased sales support. Donna Turner heads the West region, Drew Ngo is at the helm for Central and Nathan Grinnell leads the East market.
Finally, Zayo officially will move its new portal and quoting tool, Tranzact, out of beta development at the end of this quarter.
