Women in the Channel Explores Female CEO’s Journey to Success, Death of Traditional Lead Gen

CHANNEL PARTNERS Women in the Channel (WiC), a not-for-profit organization dedicated to accelerating the growth of female channel leaders in technology, will host its semiannual networking and education event at the Channel Partners Conference and Expo for the seventh time.

The event takes place tomorrow at 5 p.m. in the Burnham Ballroom at the Venetian and Sands Expo. Expect an hour of networking with a hosted bar, followed by presentations. Featured speakers include Khali Henderson, editor-in-chief of Channel Partners; Deb Ward, CEO of switchless reseller TSI, whose speech is titled, “My Journey to Success in a Male-Dominated Telecom Industry”; and Angela Leavitt of Mojo Marketing, whose presentation is called, “Traditional Lead Gen is as Dead as the Scrunchie.” Bita Milanian, WiC board member and CEO of BMG Consulting, will act as the master of ceremony.

Each session will be followed by facilitated roundtables.

We expect more than 100 women in attendance from across the country,” said Hilary Gadda, co-chair of the evenings event, WiC board member and director of channel sales at TelePacific Communications. Every event draws more attendees which is a testament to the consistent caliber of the evenings programming and speakers.”

Tuesday’s networking event is open to all women attending the 2014 Channel Partners Conference and Expo. Attendees must register for the event; it is free to all WiC members and $20 for non-members.
